(11/30) With Paid Leave Laws Expanding, You Need to Update Your Attendance Policies – TLNT.com

In lieu of national expansions, states are leading the way in the paid leave trends. At least 10 states have now passed paid sick leave laws, many of which require employers to accrue an employee’s paid leave time to some extent. Since state-by-state expansion of paid leave creates headaches for multistate employers, HR teams need to review leave-time policies to ensure regulatory compliance and continued efficiency when an employee is out sick or on leave.
