(8/14) 15 Everyday Business Functions in Need of Innovation

It’s time to bring innovation, efficiency, and tech solutions to some common business functions in your organization. These include:

·         Customer support. Look to innovations such as cloud-based solutions, the implementation of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, and using mobile apps and other smartphone capabilities.

·         Finance business processes. Consider process mining as a way to identify opportunities for improved productivity and working capital.

·         Data entry automation. Look at machine learning solutions that enable inexpensive, accurate ways to extract and organize data.

·         Employee mental health. Apps, interactive training programs, and access to services such as online counseling and support groups can help improve employees’ access to the information and support they need.

·         Employee life cycle planning. Consider mapping an employee’s life cycle, annual reviews, and raise timelines early on, and include opportunities for regular salary increases and advancement/learning opportunities.
