Teams will look and function in new and innovative ways post-pandemic. Here are a few predictions from experts to help you on your teamwork journey:

  • Results-oriented information technology and collaboration tools drive growth.
  • Communication will bridge the gap between onsite and remote workers.
  • Teams should expect the unexpected and be prepared to change with agility and flexibility.

Your teams will need training and support to make needed transitions. Seek their input on what skills or capabilities they need to embrace and promote change confidently. Make sure everyone has the tools and resources they need to succeed.

While you need to be creative about ways for remote and onsite workers to communication, don’t overload them with Zoom meetings or other virtual events. Interactions that can be handled via email or text should be encourages and supported with company policies and cybersecurity protections.
