Nearly half (49%) of long-term care workers believe stress and burnout are a top concern, according to results of a new survey. Among other findings:
- Individuals who report the greatest levels of stress and burnout are least likely to recommend their workplace to a friend or colleague.
- 39% of respondents say they have fewer fears and safety concerns related to COVID-19 than a year ago.
- 44% say they are more satisfied or very satisfied with their organization.
- 84% of respondents say they agree or strongly agree that their organization values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Over half (57%) of respondents claim that they have considered leaving their job in the past year. Reasons include a desire for better pay and/or benefits (52%), improved work/life balance (34%), and better career growth opportunities (26%).
