(6/4) Workplace Mental Health: 4 Keys to Fixing a Walking Contradiction

According to a recent survey, the most popular wellness program (68%) involves financial wellness. However, employers increasingly expect to invest in mental health (58%) and stress management (55%). To ensure that this investment gets the biggest bang for the buck, consider four tips. First, find a way to align a focus on the organization’s needs with the needs of the workplace and workers. Next, face and address workplace stress, the fifth leading cause of death in the U.S. Third, prioritize workplace culture awareness. Studies show that workplace culture is a major factor in worker productivity and performance. Finally, ensure managers have the autonomy to act “sanely” even when leadership Is volatile, unpredictable, and drives fear. Read the full article.
