(10/3) Three Things HR Can Do to Make D&I Seamless to the Business

Diversity and inclusion are essential to business success. Yet, many organizations are still struggling with how to implement these concepts into their strategic plans. Experts suggest a few keys to help:

  • Have a clearly defined purpose for meetings that drive inclusiveness and diversity. Encourage leaders to promote discussions that give everyone an opportunity to contribute ideas and be involved in problem-solving.
  • Take the bias out of requests for flexibility. Make flexible scheduling available, as possible, to employees at all levels. Ensure that employees aren’t judged or penalized for requesting flexibility.
  • Implement a research-based approach to identify, predict potential, and develop talent at all levels.
